Alina
Splashes! Custom-Built Paul Mann 58′ Hits the Water
to Launch A Winning Sportfish Career

MANNS HARBOR, NC: Paul Mann Custom Boats has splashed the latest fabulous Paul Mann custom build, the 58-foot Alina–a beautiful Carolina-style launch created and designed with two main objectives. First, she is to be a fun, comfortable boat that is chock-full of features and amenities to fish day after day. Second, when tournament time comes, Alina is created to be a genuine world-class contender.  The result of the collaborative design effort between the Paul Mann Custom Boats team and Alina’s owner is undoubtedly the most comfortable and capable custom sportfishing yacht in her class.  Alina is currently fishing the Mexican waters of Isla Mujeres and raising sails just as she was created to do. After her stint with the sailfish there, she’s bound for a Caribbean tour and eventually home to Aruba.

Alina shows off her Carolina heritage with a beautiful running angle.

The handsome and sleek 58′ LOA, 18′ beam, 5′ 6″ draft, three-stateroom, two-head fishing machine is powered by Cat C18 1000 HP high performance engines and, even completely fully loaded for travel, achieves a cruise of 28 knots at 1920 RPM and 66 gph and a top end of 35.8 knots at 2330 PRM and a 92.3 gph fuel burn. Fuel capacity is 1,354 gallons and she holds 275 gallons of freshwater.

She’s equipped with a Palm Beach Tower hardtop.  Bridge controls are mounted on a Palm Beach style single lever helm pod. Fully equipped with the best in electronics, she also features an electronically actuated drop-down overhead radio box.  She has twin helm chairs on the bridge along with a jump seat. Four teaser reels in the overhead run lines to the Rupp 41-foot Tournament riggers with triple spreaders. The fighting chair is a Release Marine tuna fighting chair with rocket launchers. This boat is ready to go fishing anywhere in the world where the fishing is hot.

Alina’s interior features cherry veneers and hardwoods with satin finish–truly beautifully crafted woodwork–along with granite countertops throughout the boat. Below decks, the companionway features cherry and holly flooring. The master stateroom is wallpapered and there’s a roomy cedar closet in two of the staterooms. The master has an ensuite head and there’s another head in the companionway also with a large enclosed shower. When you open the carpeted and well-lit rod locker, you’ll understand Alina’s real function: to be one of the finest equipped sportfish boats anywhere.
