Capt. Ken- To all those who have shared their photographs with you, we would like to contribute this one. It was taken on a lovely night on the Intracoastal Waterway as we were on the hook in a protected cove on our way down to the Florida Keys. We had just passed Beaufort, North Carolina, and, with night falling, decided not to go on. It was a good decision as we had a wonderful dinner aboard and sat up for an extra hour or two. It was so beautiful and made even more so as soon as the full moon came out from behind the clouds. It’s these kind of moments that are so special to us and we are sure, to all who enjoy the boating lifestyle. –B & A Kauffman, Savannah, GA

We’re done for the day. Last catch. Last release. On the way back, I think about those fish we sent back. Are they alright? Did we weaken them too much so that now, they won’t be able to defend themselves against the sharks who must be aware of not only the battle; the jumping and thrashing about indicating possible prey in trouble, but the blood that has also been spilled from a hooked mouth as well? I have been at this a long time now and with my grown kids now having kids, I wonder if there will be fish for them to think about when they get older. One of my sons and one of my daughters have fished with me. The other daughter does not. And that is okay. She and her husband often come down to the boat, with the grandkids, after it has been cleaned up, to see me and the crew. I put them in the skipper’s helm seat up on the bridge and we take pictures. They will have at least that to think about, I am sure. Thanks for these posting opportunities.
