The exterior of the vessel, which will be 104-feet/31.8-meters in length, designed by yacht designer Carlo Galeazzi, will be equipped with contemporary windows resembling horizontal slats in place of hull portholes or vertical windows. Her interior will incorporate four or five staterooms for guests. All the guest cabins will be situated on the lower deck and will possess a combined capacity to house a maximum of eight to 10 guests.

The superyacht will sport a living space on its foredeck, and ample relaxation and public spaces in its exterior part. Her bow will consist of a social zone fitted with tables, built-in seating facilities and sunpad. Among her various other features are built-in seating arrangements and loungers’ space aft on the flybridge, as well as a large Jacuzzi.

The superyacht will be powered by a pair of strong MTU engines. Her engines are expected to help it operate at a maximum speed of 31 knots and a cruising speed of 26 knots.

Delivery is expected in the Summer of 2012 at the Canados shipyard in Italy.

Nedship Yachts Presents 650 ‘Quadro’ Superyacht

In July of 2011, Antalya, Turkey-based superyacht builder Nedship launched the exquisite 134-foot (42m) Baia Mare.

Then, in August, 2011, Nedship announced it had been selected by Strand-Craft to build the striking and daring Eduard Gray-designed SC122 and SC166 superyachts.

Now, the Nedship Superyacht Group presents the Nedship 650 ‘Quadro’ megayacht design. The new yacht design was created by the in-house designers at Nedship as well as serious input from superyacht captains and owners. Either carbon reinforced Glass-Epoxy composite or full Carbon-Epoxy Composite will be used to keep the weight of the yacht to a minimum allowing better performance and a more fuel efficient hull.

For the new Nedship 650 Quadro it is envisioned that twin 1920 MTU engines connected to traditional shaft and propellers would provide a top speed of 21-knots. However, the alternative package would see her using triple 2,600 HP MTU engines connected to KaMeWa waterjets for a top speed of 38-knots. Construction time is anticipated to be 18-24 months from new order.
