Trinity Yachts Delivers 164’ (50m) LADY SURA

Trinity Yachts is pleased to announce that following successful sea trials in December 2012, Lady Sura, its newest 164’ (49.9m) tri-deck custom-built superyacht with aluminum hull and superstructure, has been delivered to its new owners.

Features of this beautiful yacht include a full beam two-level master suite—to enjoy sleeping on the lower level and relaxing to the view on the upper—on the main deck with forward panoramic viewing windows. Four guest staterooms are located below and one VIP guest stateroom on the 01 deck. The interior, by Patrick Knowles Yacht Design, is rich in Anigre, mahogany and harmonizing burl finishes.

Lady_Sura,_Sea_Trial,_December_2012-1For optimal outdoor living and world-class views, LADY SURA’s sky lounge is panoramic and her flybridge features a hot tub, numerous sunpads and lounge seating aft. A large tender garage aft provides ample storage for the tender, jet skis and water toys.

Lady Sura has a top speed of over 19 knots with a 4,000 nautical mile range at displacement speeds for extended cruising. Her draft of 7’8” (2.4m) enables her to frequent shallow water harbors and ports, making island hopping easy and accessible.

Lady Sura is every meter a Trinity and exemplifies what it means to build a custom yacht. So much so that over the course of her build, her owner asked Trinity for design modifications to the original contract, allowing her owner to take full advantage of the most up-to-date technologies available. More, this flexibility also illustrates the unique and winning collaboration between owner, builder and broker—as successfully managed by Jane Hardy of Peter Insull’s Yacht Marketing.

187’ (57.0m)
Lady Linda Delivered by Trinity Yachts

Already Successfully Crossing the Atlantic, Lady Linda is in the Med Enjoying the Summer Months

Trinity Yachts is pleased to announce the delivery of the exquisite Lady Linda, the 187’ (57.0m) tri-deck semi-displacement custom-built aluminum superyacht. This is the third Trinity for a Florida couple who understand Trinity’s ability to custom build to meet personal requirements. She is every meter an example of Trinity’s trademark naval architecture, exterior styling and unfaltering engineering. Celebrated interior designer, Evan Marshall of London, has set her luxurious entertaining and accommodations tone within a contemporary design.

Of paramount importance to the owners, Lady Linda needed to be built for berthing behind their Florida residence, to be capable of handling the shallow waters of the Bahamas and to provide guests matching accommodations. By designing her with an expansive 33’4” (10.2m) beam, Trinity Yachts accomplishes these critical requests. Her wide beam allows for a shallow 8’ (2.4m) draft—allowing access to shallow-water berths, ports and destinations which are generally unavailable to yachts of similar length and size—and creates enough space for equally sized guest cabins.

Lady Linda’s forward main deck full-width king master suite is ensuite his shower/her shower and Jacuzzi. More, her roomy size includes a large owner’s office as part of the master suite. The owner also specified a half-beam gym aft of the pilothouse which—with Trinity’s design ingenuity —easily converts into the fifth guest cabin.

The four half-beam equally sized guest staterooms are located amidships below. Stunning in their design, the staterooms are oriented to the ocean; incredible sea view vistas are available in each. All are ensuite, roomy and exquisitely detailed with granite, marble and soft, earthy colors.

The main deck features an elegant entrance foyer and voluminous socializing space in the main and dining salons. Advanced electronics include auto lifting television systems, total surround sound and networked computer equipment with uninterrupted power sources. Lady Linda’s galley, skylounge and sundeck are outfitted with the finest makes and models from Wolf to Miele, Viking and Subzero. Lady Linda’s crew quarters—including a spacious lounge—are also equipped with top-of-the-line utilities and comforts.

The pilothouse deck with air-conditioned aft exterior deck provides abundant space with a full-beam skylounge and large aft deck. Featuring design unique to Trinity, her sundeck is outfitted with floor-to-ceiling glass doors to deflect wind. The sundeck also features a large bar and seating, a hot tub, is “touch and go” heli-ready and is equipped with a davit suitable for rescue tender, jet skis and water toys.

As with all Trinity superyachts, collaboration between owner, owner’s rep—Mr. Ingo Pfotenhauer—builder and interior designer creates a truly custom yacht built to exacting specification. The result is the delivery of a truly magnificent yacht: Lady Linda.

164’ (49.9m)
Tsumat Launched at Trinity Yachts

TSUMAT is bedecked with flags prior to her launching.

Trinity Yachts is pleased to announce its first launch of 2012: Tsumat, a 164’ (49.9m) Tri-Deck custom built superyacht with aluminum hull and superstructure. Representing quintessential Trinity Yachts design, naval architecture and exterior styling, Tsumat is the stuff dreams are made of for her owner, a repeat Trinity customer whose family has enjoyed yachting for many years. From her layout which includes six staterooms and a tender garage—allowing for an oversized sundeck compete with workout stations and ample relaxation options—Tsumat is intended to provide every amenity for her active owner family and their guests.

A proper christening for yet another spectacular Trinity megayacht.

With a draft of less than 8’ (<2.4m) at half load—one of Trinity Yachts marvels of superyacht engineering given a 164’ (49.9m) length—Tsumat maneuvers easily in shallow-water destinations. Simultaneously, Tsumat’s 28’ (8.5m) beam creates exceptionally large living space and plentiful and comfortable room for crew: Tsumat accommodates 12 owners and guests, and 11 crew. Her inspired interior design—created by J. C. Espinosa of Espinosa, Inc. and Ramon Alonso of Museotec with dynamic input from her owners—provides modern appointments to Tsumat’s exceptional use of space.

A six stateroom all ensuite layout includes a full-width main deck owner’s king master suite with an adjacent owner’s study and walk up ensuite His and Her heads. There is room enough for seating, ample storage and a 42” plasma TV. Four guest staterooms—two queen and two twin for children and their friends—are on the lower deck amidships. A fifth queen guest stateroom features breathtaking views from the pilothouse deck.

The main deck is highlighted by wonderfully open space in the main and dining saloons including elegant seating for 12, a complete bar and wine cellar; a spacious galley with island bar seating for enjoying the preparation of elegant cuisine; and, a full beam al fresco lounge.

Tsumat’s full-width skylounge also features seating for 12 to dine al fresco, the captain’s ensuite stateroom, pilot house, two sun pads, and, as noted, the fifth guest stateroom. Her sundeck is immense: hot tub, bar, dining for eight, quad chaise lounging, treadmills, weights, twin sun pads and still room for the rescue tender. Whether recreating or relaxing, Tsumat’s uppermost deck opens to the world’s oceans with unparalleled amenities and expanses.

All Trinity custom superyachts represent a decidedly unique collaboration between owner and builder, engineering team and designers, captain, crew, family and friends. At launch—and upon final delivery in 2012—Tsumat exemplifies the very nature of what it means to own a Trinity Yacht:  the ability to have a yacht custom built for the particular needs and uniqueness of the individual.

Trinity Yachts: The Year in Review, The Year Ahead

In a global economic climate which might merely be described as awkwardly viable, Trinity Yachts continues to set a remarkable pace in custom superyachts launched and delivered in 2011 with great expectations for launches and deliveries in 2012.

Trinity's magnificent Carpe Diem was one of several spectacular 2011 launches.

In 2011, Trinity delivered the 191’ (58m) M/Y Carpe Diem and 164’ (50m) M/Y Falcon; and launched the 198’ (60m) M/Y Areti,  187’ (58m) M/Y Lady Linda, and the 242’ (73m) M/Y New Horizon. The latter three yachts will be delivered in 2012. In early January 2012, Trinity Yachts launched the 164’ (50m) M/Y Tsumat which also has an expected 2012 delivery.

Trinity Offshore—a leader in the design and construction of commercial tugs, offshore vessels and patrol craft in aluminum, steel and composite—experienced remarkable success in 2011 while 2012 prospects are promising. “In the first half 2012, Trinity will deliver a total of eight vessels,” says John Dane, Trinity’s President. “By having a mix of what one of our supplier friends calls ‘Guns ‘N Roses’—military and recreational vessels—we are able to sustain our workforce in an uncertain world economy.
Rendering of the 164-foot/50m Tsumat.

Reflecting just how global the yachting and maritime businesses are, only one of these eight vessels is for an American superyacht owner while the total fleet—including two tugs delivered in 2011 and a pair of 302’ LNG powered supply vessels for delivery in 2013— keeps our American employees hard at work,” he adds. www.trinityyachts.com

242’ (73.8m) Six-Deck Project, New Horizon, Splashes at
Trinity Yachts

Largest American Built Superyacht to Launch in 2011

Trinity Yachts is pleased to announce that its largest custom superyacht to date—and the largest American built yacht in 2011—the 242’ (73.8m) six-deck, full displacement steel hull, New Horizon, launched in mid November 2011. The epitome of the design, naval architecture and engineering that Trinity Yachts incorporates in each meticulously custom superyacht built, New Horizon caps a remarkable year for the U.S. builder. Trinity remains the top U.S. builder with the 2011 launches of New Horizon, Lady Linda, Areti and the deliveries of Carpe Diem and Falcon.

With an interior artfully designed by Evan Marshall, New Horizon’s massive size in lineal feet, expansive 40’9” (12.4m) beam and six-deck volume allows her to, by nature, represent the very finest aspects of superyachting. Her main deck features a luxurious aft entertaining area, huge salon and dining area, full width master stateroom, office, study, His and Hers en suite with wardrobes. Her lower deck includes six guest staterooms all en suite, eight crew cabins plus captain’s cabin also en suite, and a vast lazarette.

Deck life aboard New Horizon is unrivalled and easily accessible by elevator. The pilothouse deck includes twin davits for tenders, ample space for toys, a skylounge, an aft deck lounge with al fresco seating for 12 and twin side deck lounges; the observation deck with lounge is located above the pilothouse deck and features a gym, aft deck and hot tub; and, for those wishing a bird’s eye view of the sea, the upper deck offers unmatched visibility.

New Horizon, like all Trinity Yachts, represents the fundamental tenet of this world-renowned builder: that a custom superyacht is best approached collaboratively. Sold by Bob Cury of RJC Yacht Sales for long-time repeat customers, the opportunity to bring to life a superlative yacht that is simultaneously the yard’s largest to date, is an engineering feat in six decks and meets with the exacting specifications of her owners, is a hallmark of Trinity Yachts’ boatbuilding prowess. New Horizon delivers in 2012.
